The project Softspace is dealing with space, material and architecture. Having faced our deep rooted connection to textiles, this project tries to implement the material back into spaces and offers an open approach to discover the dissolving of the heavy and dusty characteristics off to a new way to see textile in our areas of living.

Woven tapestries are brought flat or in a three dimensional way into the room and spin up a new space through free floating threads. They create lightness and communicate with the architecture surrounding it to define and build something new.

Softspace textiles are numbered in the order of their development and each piece is a one-off. The technique allows also the possibility for individual commissions and small series on request.
