Cutting Edge is an installation to create a variety of objects based on the process of hot-wire cutting. From the idea of seeing movement as liquid form, a large-scale cutting machine was built to capture the movements of the maker and directly create a permanent pattern and shape.
The Cutting Edge Shelving process utilises both the positive and negative (off-cut) forms. Inherent to the making process, the shelves create a seamless fit with the main body, creating a high level of precision as well as a stronger joint.

Styropor, polyurea, lacquer
