'This project was born from an eruption of a paranormal kind.
Coloured lava flows would have fossilized our everyday objects. The birth of these new objects interacts with our environment.
I discovered a material at Quinze and Milan. This furniture company has developed a type of QMform coating based on a chemical reaction between sprayed coloured polyurethane and a foam block. The idea was to enhance the company's raw material to create a collection of objects. By analysing the production and creation cycle of the products, the idea came to valorise this raw material on recycled moulds in order to create a collection of decorative objects on the theme of colour, halfway between an artistic performance and a scenography.
What interests me in this project is to invite people to look at everyday objects with a new perspective, to play with the perception of the object by creating surprise because it is flexible.’
