CRYSTAL CUP VASE / TURQUOISE - BURGUNDY by MILAN PERKAŘ

€350.00

Designed by Czech porcelain artist Milan Pekař, this vase is the result of a painstaking glazing process. Simple in shape and proportion, the vases are slip casted from porcelain to achieve the cleanest and purest shape possible, before being applied with Pekař's own unique crystal glaze formula and being blasted at various temperatures. The end product is this turquoise and burgundy spotted cylindrical vase, which works equally as vessel for flowers as it does as a sculptural piece.

Milan Pekař is a Czech ceramic artist, born in 1980.

He’s currently Assistant Professor at Studio of Ceramics and Porcelain Academy of Arts Architecture & Design in Prague since September 2011, and Head of Applied Arts Department 1 since 2016.

MATERIALS :
porcelain, crystal glaze

DIMENSIONS :
H 23 x 13 x 13 cm

Unique piece handmade in Czech republic, 2020.
