This artwork is part of the recent series 'Victoire.' It blends trophies and laurel wreaths, both symbols of success, but intentionally distorted, with an enamel treatment giving them a burnt or metallic appearance.
One might hesitate between seeing them as a trophy rescued from flames or an old, battered metallic object—symbolizing a success that is not so certain, not so easy.
