WE ARE THE WORLD, PETIT POT AVEC SOUCOUPE by COLINE ROSOUX

€600.00

We Are The World is a series of planters (indoors/outdoors) made by Coline Rosoux for FRACAS gallery in 2022.
In this series ‘We Are The World’, the walls of the objects are transformed into a chronology of human interactions, between love, games and a large proportion of absurdity.

Coline Rosoux (b.1984, FR) studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Angers (FR) and then completed a master’s degree in ceramics at La Cambre in Brussels (BE). She is currently a teacher of ceramics at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Saint Gilles in Brussels and an assistant in the ceramics option at La Cambre.

In her work, she tries to bring the clay to life by means of raw modeling, as one would play with a ball of modeling clay. She likes to compare her work to Egyptian frescoes, the Bayeux tapestry or the songs of Michael Jackson.

MATERIALS :
stoneware

DIMENSIONS :
H32 x 19 x 19 cm

Unique piece, handmade in Belgium, 2022.
