Studio Matériel is a Parisian studio created in 2015 by Antoine Soler and Fannie Robert. Coming respectively from the world of design and art, they have in common to think about habitat and the way we commit in it. Mindful to confront the sacredness of objects with their useful and accessible aspect, they work between craft and industrial design. The studio publishes its objects in small and medium series.

Amulette is a wall shelves system designed to highlight everyday objects. Between a craft and an industrial object, Amulet is made of hammered aluminum and colored plexiglass. Amulet draws its inspiration from Antique egyptian art. Like contemporary hieroglyphics, user’s objects take part of the shelf. This first self-published creation is now available as a series of 18 signed and numbered pieces.
