The Monoliths series consists of the Combarbalita rock, which is only found in northern Chile. Its heterogeneous composition of different minerals allows it to produce a wide variety of colors. Monoliths are the result of the symbiosis of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. The series suggest a paradigm shift by changing and reducing the sculptural scale, commonly associated to architecture and public space, to a domestic and object level.
