Coupe À Melons is a unique piece handmade by the French artist Romain les Bains.
This ceramic piece was created using various hand-building techniques: wheel-thrown, coiled with clay ropes, slab-built, and pinched. Special attention is given to the graphic treatment of the lemons, each one unique. The inspiration for this work comes from the artist's Mediterranean roots, reflected in its form drawn from antiquity and its citrus decor representing local vegetation.

Intentionally oversized in contradiction to its suggested function, the artwork draws from its title, hinting at storing melons, yet remaining deliberately impractical.
